This was an amazing, life-changing experience for me! The people we met and new relationships will stay with me forever. The South Africans were so friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a fabulous time in their country. From hotel staff to safari guides, to the incredible members of the Knysna U3A program, everyone went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. I was so surprised by the food, too, everywhere we ate (even the airplane food on the domestic flights) was fabulous. Then there was the learning opportunities which were so rich and meaningful, Nanda Journeys provided top-notch speakers and opportunities to meet and share with locals. I can't say enough about how terrific the entire program was and how smoothly everything ran.

This was my third trip with Nanda Journeys, and each experience has been even better than the last. The NBASLH Journey to Tanzania exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived at the airport until my departure, every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed.
I was especially impressed by the guides. They were knowledgeable, professional, organized, and always smiling. They made me feel welcomed, safe, and well cared for throughout the entire trip. Their attention to detail and genuine commitment to providing an outstanding experience made all the difference.
I truly enjoyed the perfect balance of professional learning, cultural immersion, community engagement, and unforgettable wildlife experiences. I enjoyed all aspects of the tour and learned so much about Irish culture and history. Friendly people, great guides, interesting sights. Brian Matthews, our main guide, shared a wealth of information in an engaging way. All of the other guides were great!
Food and accommodations were fine.
We had a nice balance of activities, some of which I wouldn't have done on my own: baking bread at the thatched cottage and Irish dancing. Those were nice respites from the seriousness of learning about the Troubles.
As a result of this experience I have a greater understanding of and respect for Ireland and her people.

This trip exceeded my wildest expectations. I experienced the culture, wildlife, food, and geography of two areas so different from my own. The best part of this tour was the people. Nicola and Dominic led with knowledge, care and support. The group bonded quickly and added to the enjoyment. I will travel with Nanda Journeys again.

We loved this journey! We got to experience so many wonderful parts of Australia & New Zealand, learn about their history & culture, stayed in awesome local hotels, & ate yummy food. Nicola & Dominic were wonderful hosts & had local guides & drivers who provided additional insight into those 2 amazing countries' history & culture. My husband and I recently traveled to Fiji and New Zealand. This was a trip of a life time and we could not have done this without the help of Nanda Journeys and Nicola Balmain. Nicola worked closely with us to understand our travel style and what we loved to do while traveling. Our trip was stunning in every way! The beauty of New Zealand was breath taking, the people were welcoming and the travel planning perfect! My husband and I are experienced travelers but we could not have undertaken this trip without Nicola's help. We were able to hike through a thousand year old forest with a personal naturalist, we saw the stunning Milford Sound via small boat and then flew back to Queenstown over The Remarkables Mountain Range. And, our flight and travel logistics ran perfectly!
I have had the good fortune to also travel with Nanda on a number of professional HR and business exchanges. The enrichment of the travel experience for my career was life changing. We are forever grateful to Nanda Journeys and Nicola Balmain for giving us these life long memories. - Kathy Claytor
